2025-02-18The Brazilian Supreme Federal Court (STF) invites researchers to submit their work. Will be accepted articles written in Spanish, Portuguese, English, French and Italian – to contribute to the thematic dossier “Diversity and Inclusion in Institutions” of Suprema – Constitutional Studies Law Review. Submissions will be accepted until March 6, 2025.

2024-12-16The editorial team of Suprema – Journal of Constitutional Studies informs that, in order to ensure that the journal reaches the highest levels of classification in relevant indexing bases, it has decided to divide the publication of the thematic dossiers already announced. Therefore, articles not published in one volume may be included in the subsequent ones, unless otherwise decided by the authors.

2024-10-04A nova edição da Suprema – Revista de Estudos Constitucionais, lançada pelo Presidente do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), Ministro Luís Roberto Barroso, no dia 12 de setembro último, já está disponível para aquisição. A publicação acadêmico-científica, de periodicidade semestral, traz nesta edição a primeira parte do dossiê temático “Os litígios estruturais na jurisdição constitucional”, cujo tema é cada vez mais debatido entre acadêmicos e profissionais do direito e faz parte do dia a dia jurisdicional do STF.

Suprema – Constitutional Studies Law Review welcomes articles for dossier on structural litigation
2024-01-23Suprema – Constitutional Studies Law Review is accepting articles for its seventh edition (Notice STF/SAE 01/2024) until March, 3rd. This edition will bring together articles on “Structural litigation in Constitutional Jurisdiction: challenges, limitations, and breakthroughs”. The thematic dossier will be the first of Justice Luís Roberto Barroso's term as President of the Federal Supreme Court (STF). It is planned to be launched in the first half of this year.

The dossier "The right to have rights, published in Volume 2, Number 2, of the Journal, was organized by Dr. Andreza Aruska de Souza Santos - professor at the University of Oxford, director of the Brazilian Studies Programme at the same institution and a member of Suprema's International Editorial Board - and made public through the launch of the STF/SAE 2/2021 Call for Papers.

Revista Suprema welcomes articles for dossier on Artificial Intelligence and Rights
2023-02-13Suprema - Revista de Estudos Constitucionais, the scientific journal of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), is launching a new thematic dossier entitled "Artificial Intelligence and Rights". The dossier is organized by the Secretariat for Advanced Studies, Research and Information Management (SAE), in partnership with the STF's Artificial Intelligence Department.
The aim of the issue is to encourage debate about the use of artificial intelligence (AI) by Brazilian courts, which aim to provide a celebrated and efficient judicial service. The papers will be published in the fifth issue of the journal, scheduled for publication in the first half of 2023. Interested parties have until 11:59 p.m. on April 9, 2023 (Brasília time) to submit their articles and translations.

2021-08-04We invite everyone to attend the Plenary Session of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) to be held on August 5, 2021, at 2pm, at which Chief Justice Luiz Fux will officially launch Suprema - Revista de Estudos Constitucionais, the first academic journal produced by the Court. The Plenary Session will be broadcast live on the STF's YouTube channel.
Suprema's mission is to create a space for the exchange of knowledge of high innovative value, with the publication of unpublished and original articles, translations, reviews and interviews in the legal field. The magazine represents a milestone in the STF's interaction with the academic and civil community, unprecedented in the 130 years of the Court's existence.
