New Issue of Revista Suprema features 12 unpublished articles, an interview, and a review
The Supreme Court has published another edition of Suprema - Revista de Estudos Constitucionais, the first academic journal produced by the Court, which can be accessed free of charge via the journal's official website.
According to the Chief Justice of the STF, Justice Luiz Fux, the new publication once again features important academic dialogues aimed at stimulating national and international scientific production. "The issue features work by 20 authors, who address issues related to the STF's institutional work, such as contemporary aspects of constitutional litigation and the challenges of constitutionalism in the digital age," he says.
In addition to 12 unpublished articles, the magazine also features an interview with Professor Tercio Sampaio Ferraz Jr. and a review of the book "Constitutional Erosion in Brazil", by Professor Emilio Peluso Neder Meyer.
Exchange of knowledge
Suprema is a milestone in the Court's interaction with the academic and civil community. Launched in 2021, the journal's mission is to create a space for the exchange of knowledge of innovative value, with the publication of unpublished and original articles, translations, reviews, and interviews on topics in the legal field, in Portuguese and other languages (English, Spanish, French, or Italian).
Now in its third edition, the publication has consolidated its position as a vehicle for the dissemination of specialized knowledge and a point of reference in the dissemination of legal knowledge, incorporating the STF into the main scientific publication networks.
Democratization
Revista Suprema is published every six months and continuously receives academic papers through its electronic portal. There are no fees for submitting work or accessing the journal's digital content, in line with the principles of democratizing access to knowledge, and it is aimed at the entire academic community interested in the knowledge produced in the legal field, such as proessors, students, researchers, jurists, magistrates, and other professionals interested in the studies produced in the area.
